The exhibition is titled "The origins of El Greco: Icon painting in Venetian Crete" and is taking place from November 17th, 2009 to February 27th, 2010.
46 exceptional works from public and private collections in Greece, Europe, the United States and Canada, are presented, many of which will be traveling to the U.S. for the first time.
The exhibition is open: Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
